Along Washington State's Hwy 2, as it crosses the South Fork of the Skykomish River, wondering if there was a shot to be had, I finally saw the light.
As I was driving through this valley, I wasn't too hopeful about getting a decent shot of the sunset, given the cloud cover and that I was already engulfed by shadows of the surrounding mountains. But then, as I crossed this river and saw how the mountain tops were lit, I had to pull over and capture the scene before the light went away.
