When I arrived at Trillium Lake, the water was somewhat choppy, which distorted the reflection, but a couple of hours later, close to sunset, the breeze subsided and the water turned to glass. It just goes to show that sometimes patience isn't just its own reward. Sometimes perks come with the package.
